Q has also agreed to communicate with our class and share her college experience at the University of California Berkeley.
"My name is Qiao Er Michelle Li (they call me Q) and I am currently a freshman attending the University of California Berkeley. I was born in China but spent most of my time growing up in the Chinatown and Lincoln Heights area. I attended Nightingale from 2008 to 2011 (go Class of 2011 Explorers) and later on went to Downtown Magnets High School. In high school, I took on the hobby of playing tennis, became ASB president, Class President, and many other roles on campus. I was also Class President of the Explorers at Nightingale. Being able to speak to new people and peers in middle school really helped me set the foundation for who I am today. I met some of my closest friends, developed good study habits, and began branching-out during my nighthawk years. It seems like only a few months ago that I was sitting in your seats as a middle schooler in Mr. V's class (223 the place to be, with Mr. V) and listening to AC/DC blast from speakers during clean up time. Time passes by super fast and it is best to make a solid foundation for your future starting now! Study hard, speak to your peers, and make the best of your time. Good luck!"
