Dear students,
Thank your for your patience during this difficult time. I am taking the steps necessary to return to work as soon as possible. Hang in there and give your substitutes your best possible behavior. In the meantime, let me remind you that very few of you completed the 2 hours of Power my Learning "homework" that I assigned over winter break. I have been in contact with Mr. Esparza, Mr. Mendoza, and Mr. Valencia regarding all things pertaining to our classes.
When I return, and let me assure you that I will return soon, I am still responsible to assign you a grade. I will for sure utilize the information on the Power my Learning website as part of your Math grade for both my 6th and 7th graders. Let me remind everyone, that the power my learning website keeps track of all your progress, every time you log in, how much time you spend doing the activities, and several other things. So, please be responsible and keep your skills up to date by spending some time on that website. I have left a few more "new" activities. If Mr. Esparza takes you to the lab to work on Power my Learning, I will know, and should see evidence that you spent time on the website either by turning in work to him, if he asks, or because I can track your progress.
Thank you students for being great kids. Again, I ask for your patience during this time, and I will return soon to serve you as your teacher.
